The major sports worth looking forward to in 2022
It’s only been a few months since the 2022 World Cup ended, and we’re already awaiting the next big tournament to help us get through the long, hot summer. With the next World Cup kicking off in just over a year, we thought we’d take a look at some of the biggest sports you can look forward to in 2022.
This year is only a few months away, and we have already seen a heap of big events happening but what we have left isn’t that much. The NBA and other leagues are likely to make announcements soon because they have one of their biggest events happening in the next couple of months. The 2022 NBA All-Star game will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina. This will make it the third time an All-Star game is held in the Charlotte region, with the other two being held in Charlotte in the 1982 and 2013 editions of the event. The game will be played at Spectrum Center. Multiple sports will be featured in the game, including the women’s basketball, men’s and women’s 3-point shooting events, and dunk contest.
Basketball: NBA 2022
The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in Paris, France, and the city is already gearing up for the games. That won’t stop Paris from planning a massive sports event to make the games even more memorable, as the 2024 basketball NBA 2022 is a possibility. This is a different kind of Olympic event, which doesn’t take place during the summer, but instead, in the fall. It will be played over several months of the year and will be organized by the Basketball NBA 2022 league. The games will be played in cities across the world and will be streamed live on the internet from local venues.
The NBA is a great sport. The amount of hard work and dedication that players have to put in to achieve success is inspiring. While holding a basketball isn’t as physical as other sports such as football or baseball, the amount of dedication and practice that NBA players have to put in to reach their goals for success is immense. With that being said, many NBA players serve as great role models for aspiring basketball players. Among those is Stephen Curry.
Swimming 2022
We are big fans of swimming, and we think swimming will be a big part of 2022. Right now, we don’t know which Olympics the United States will be in by 2022, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed for Tokyo. Tokyo would probably be in the Olympics if we were to guess since we don’t know if the US will be in London, Paris, or Los Angeles. However, if Tokyo is in the Olympics, we think it would be a great choice.
“Swimming 2022” was one of my favorite events of the year. It was the most fun I’ve had in years, and it was so nice to see some of the more talented players in the game have a chance to showcase their skills. Though it was a small event, for the most part, it certainly helped to show that esports is starting to encroach on the realm of traditional sports.
Soccer 2022
Soccer will be back in 2022, which you might not know is the centenary of the Football Association. We’re not sure what the FA is going to do to celebrate, but it’ll probably be broadcast on YouView…
